One custom-made bronze edition was commissioned by a Swiss art collector Dr. Dirk Kappeler for his mythological art collection.

The client who loved the forest and felt most at peace while spending time in the woods wanted an artwork that would evoke the same emotionin his office. After the work was delivered to him he had theses comments for Angelika:

 “Thank you very much for the sculpting of my dryad Ordalie. I am very happy to have been able to purchase such a beautiful work of art. But even more of a pleasure has been taking part in the development and creation of the finished product. I feel that all my wishes and creative input have been considered, and “Ordalie” looks how I would have made her, if I were the artist to do so.“

Ordalie Endorsement

“Ordalie” is a tree nymph also called “dryad”. Dryads are tree nymphs in Greek mythology. Dryads are specifically the nymphs of oak trees, though the term has come to be used for all tree nymphs in general. (excerpt from wikipedia)
